Terms of Service

Last updated: July 13, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DevSnipe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use DevSnipe. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using DevSnipe, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Description of Service

DevSnipe provides AI-powered job alerts for freelancers specializing in automation and development. The service scans platforms like Upwork, Skool, and more for relevant job postings, matches them against your skill profile, and delivers notifications via email along with AI-drafted proposal text.

Browser Extension

DevSnipe offers an optional Chrome extension that drafts a proposal for an Upwork job and types it into the apply form for you to review and send. The extension is part of the DevSnipe service and is covered by these terms and our Privacy Policy.

The extension never submits a proposal for you. It drafts and fills the form, and you review, edit, and submit every proposal yourself. You are responsible for the content you send and for using the extension only with your own browser session and in compliance with the terms of the sites you use it on, including Upwork. Proposal generation may be subject to per-plan limits, which we may adjust, and we may modify, limit, or discontinue the extension at any time.

User Accounts

Accounts are created via magic link authentication sent to your email address. Each email address may only be associated with one account. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address linked to your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to abuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to DevSnipe or its data. Automated access beyond what is provided through our official API is prohibited. Any use that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure or interferes with other users' experience may result in account suspension.

Billing and Plans

DevSnipe offers a free plan, an annual plan billed once a year through Stripe, and a one-time lifetime plan. The annual plan renews automatically each year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard and keep paid features until the end of the year you already paid for. The lifetime plan is a single one-time payment with no renewals and nothing to cancel. Pricing is subject to change with at least 30 days' notice, and any change applies only to future charges, never to a lifetime plan you already own. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. For details on refunds, see our Refund Policy.

Automatic renewal. If you purchase the annual plan, it automatically renews for another one-year term at the then-current annual price, charged to your payment method on file, until you cancel. A small number of legacy accounts remain on a monthly subscription, which renews automatically each month until cancelled on the same terms. Before each annual renewal we send a reminder to your account email with the renewal date and amount, as required by law. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard by opening Manage billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep paid features through the end of the term you already paid for. The one-time lifetime plan does not renew and is never automatically charged again.

Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software associated with DevSnipe are the property of DevSnipe and its operators. You retain ownership of any data you provide to the service (such as skill preferences and email content). Content generated through our tools is yours to use as you see fit. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the DevSnipe platform or its underlying technology.

User Content

DevSnipe lets you upload and create content, including the text you provide for your profile, proposals, and preferences ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading or creating User Content, you grant DevSnipe a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the service to you.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that you own it or have all rights necessary to upload and use it, and that your User Content does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights, and does not violate any law. You may not upload content that is unlawful or infringing, or that you do not have the right to use. We may remove User Content that we believe violates these terms or the rights of others, and we may suspend or terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

Copyright and DMCA Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

If you believe content on DevSnipe infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Copyright Agent that includes: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; (3) identification of the material you claim is infringing and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it, such as a URL; (4) your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (6) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Designated Copyright Agent

DMCA Agent, Synced Systems

Email: support@devsnipe.com (subject line: "DMCA Notice")

We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the DMCA, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material.

If you believe your content was removed or disabled in error, you may submit a counter-notification to our Designated Copyright Agent under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) that includes: (1) a physical or electronic signature of the subscriber; (2) identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled; (3) a statement under penalty of perjury that the subscriber has a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; (4) the subscriber's name, address, and telephone number; and (5) a statement that the subscriber consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located (or, if the subscriber's address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which DevSnipe may be found), and that the subscriber will accept service of process from the person who submitted the takedown notice or an agent of that person.

After we receive a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore the removed material in 10 to 14 business days, unless the complainant first files a court action seeking to restrain the subscriber's allegedly infringing activity. We will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

Disclaimer of Warranties

DevSnipe is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of job listings displayed on the platform. Job postings are sourced from third-party platforms and may be outdated, removed, or inaccurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DevSnipe and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, regardless of the cause.

We are not responsible for the outcome of any job application or client engagement that results from using the service.

Our total liability for any claim related to DevSnipe is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DevSnipe and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with us, we encourage you to contact us first at support@devsnipe.com so we can try to resolve it informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may pursue binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in Nevada County, California. You agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis, not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in court for matters that require urgent protection (such as intellectual property infringement). Claims eligible for small claims court may be brought there instead of arbitration. If you do not wish to be bound by the arbitration provision, you may opt out by emailing us at support@devsnipe.com within 30 days of creating your account.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any legal action not subject to arbitration will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Nevada County, California.

Termination

You can stop using DevSnipe and delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Sections that should reasonably survive termination (such as Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or through a notice on the platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of DevSnipe after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you disagree with the changes, you should stop using the service and delete your account before the new terms take effect.

General Provisions

  • Entire agreement. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DevSnipe.
  • Severability. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce any part of these terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
